A curious confrontation will be the highlight of Bison FC 2, which will be held on December 8th, at the Eucaliptus concert hall, in Interlagos, São Paulo. Actor André Ramiro, known nationally for playing police officer André Matias in the acclaimed Tropa de Elite franchise, will face in a submission fight bassist Román Laurito, from the band Tihuana – author of the theme song for the Brazilian film.
The confrontation between the artists will not have a weight limit, as Ramiro is 10 kg heavier than Laurito. However, the actor, a blue belt in jiu-jitsu, does not have the same experience as his opponent in the ground fight, as the musician has a black belt.
In addition, the three MMA belt fights are also highlights of the event. Marcus Babuíno faces Gilbertinho Pantoja for the featherweight title (under 66 kg); In the lightweight division (up to 70kg), Serginho Soares, Ryan Gracie's black belt, faces Dióginis Overeem. Finally, Gabriel Checco and Ulisses Mendes compete to define the middleweight champion (up to 84 kg).
