John Moraga is injured and leaves the UFC on Fox 9 card

Former flyweight challenger will be replaced by newcomer Alptekin Ozkilic, who will face Darren Uyenoyama

An injury of an unknown nature forced John Moraga to leave the UFC on Fox 9 card, which will take place on December 14, in Sacramento, United States.

The former flyweight title challenger was scheduled to face Darren Uyenoyama at the event, but will be replaced by Alptekin Ozkilic, who will make his UFC debut. Born in Turkey, but based in the United States, he has a record of eight wins and one loss, including the technical knockout against veteran Antonio Banuelos (ex-UFC) in May.

PUBLICITY:

Uyenoyama, in turn, has two wins and one loss in the UFC. He beat Kid Yamamoto in November 2011, submitted Phil Harris in October 2012 and was defeated by Joseph Benavidez in April this year.

The main fight of UFC on Fox 9 will be the rematch between Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson by the fly belt. Also highlighted are the meetings between Urijah faber and Michael McDonald, Carlos Condit and Matt Brown and Chad Mendes e Nik lentz.
