It is with great pleasure that on this date, November 21, 2013, the SUPER FIGHTS completes 6 years of life.
It seems little, but the journey is long, full of ups and downs like everything that is pleasurable in life.
I confess that some days were difficult, as the SUPER FIGHTS It has been an intense part of my life since 2007. There were many, many hours dedicated to this project, several late nights, hundreds of updates, close to 10 thousand news items, in addition to my wife's patience and understanding.
I'm six years older, I left my early 20s and joined the 30s. I wrote a lot of nonsense, reported big fights and saw the sport become popular in a frightening way. I'm not going to mention the evolution of MMA in this time, Lucas Carrano has already done that very well (read here).
Today the SUPER FIGHTS It is a dream come true, as the site has become a consolidated company, with respect from the market, customers and professionals in the field. And yes, I have the opportunity and pride to quote the favorite metaphor of Vitor belfort.

It all started in mid-2007, in a chat in an Orkut community. Several colleagues had the brilliant idea of putting together a ranking of the 100 biggest names in the history of world MMA, using rules that we were sure were the fairest of all time.
The ranking never left the first analyses, but the SUPER FIGHTS It stopped being a dream and reached where it is achieving impressive numbers: 1 million hits every month, 4 million page views, more than 21 thousand members on the Forum, 39 thousand fans on Facebook, 1 million views on Youtube and more. To mention some important achievements I would need a few paragraphs and it would be a bit boring for anyone reading this text, written with teary eyes, smiles and nostalgia.
I would never have been able to get here alone. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to thank some important people in this trajectory of SUPER FIGHTS: Vinnaum, Diogo, Alê, ao 'Wick', from Forum, Thiago, Carlos Salvador, Alexandre Matos. In addition to Lucas Carrano, Bruno Ferreira and Daniel Lopes – still on the team today – you helped and continue to help make this project real, which becomes stronger every day.
Thanks to the people at Inter.Net, our first portal. Ao Pop, launched the website in 2009 and gave us a good reputation in the southern region of Brazil.

At the beginning, I confess that I often thought about giving up, it wasn't easy, far from it, but when a company that came out of an almost extinct social network reaches six years of existence, it's impossible not to feel a tinge of pride.
