Affection from the Chilean public (x Chad Laprise)
Despite wearing Brazilian colors in the octagon during his Ultimate appearances, Vicente felt 'at home' when he performed at UFC Chile, in May 2018. The fighter, who is of Chilean descent, was pushed by the local fans and knocked out Chad Laprise in the opening of the show's main card.
Luque, during the fight, suffered a fall and quickly recovered. With a left cross that hit Laprise's chin, he fell on top and had time to land strong blows before the referee stopped him.

Left... (x Randy Brown)
In August 2020, Vicente put on a show to knock out, in just two minutes, Randy Brown. With strategy and precision, the Brasilia native was cautious and found the right moments to deliver the blows, until he applied a knockdown followed by blows to the ground due to the central referee's interruption.
In addition to the important outcome against Brown, Luque got closer to the top-10 in the division and took home the 'Performance of the Night' award.

Most important career victory (x Tyron Woodley)
Without an audience during the pandemic that ravaged the world, Luque had the most significant victory of his career. At the UFC 260, in March 2021, the athlete achieved an impeccable performance and, with a hand triangle, passed the former welterweight champion (up to 77kg.), Tyron woodley, who was saying goodbye to the company.
With the duel in the center of the cage, Luque responded to Woodley's attempts with a right cross. The North American swayed and fell on four supports. Finally, the Brazilian applied a submission before his rival withdrew in the Ultimate octagon.

Hand triangle (x Michael Chiesa)
Excited by a series of four consecutive victories, Vincent Luque had a gala performance and 'ran over' Michael chiesa No. UFC 265, in August 2021. At the time, the Brazilian felt initial pressure from the North American, but reversed the situation and landed a plastic hand triangle at the end of the first round. The show took place at the Toyota Center, in Houston, Texas (USA).
Luque started the fight at a disadvantage and even saw Chiesa pass his guard to attempt a rear naked choke. The Brasilia native, however, got out of the frame and made the quick transition to a finish that made 'Maverick', as he is known, give up.
Vincent Luque casually put his right arm around Chiesa's neck like a regular front neck grip but passes his left arm through at the same time as he frees his right arm to lock the grip and rolls Chiesa in.
