At the 'cart meeting', Derrick Lewis got the worst of it UFC 277, held this Saturday (30), in Dallas (USA). Opponent of Sergei Pavlovich on the main card, the North American 'giant' accepted the open fight and ended up being knocked out in the first minute of the confrontation. After calling out a devastating sequence from the opponent, the referee interrupted the fight 55 seconds into the fight.
With the defeat, Lewis reaches his second consecutive defeat. Outperformed on the card, the North American suffers the second stumble in a row and is momentarily removed from a new title fight.

In the main fight of his career, Pavlovich has plenty of reasons to celebrate. The triumph over the 'giant' will promote an important leap for the Russian, who, before the event, was in 11th place in the rankings, while his rival was in fifth place.
The fight
The confrontation began with the athletes looking for a knockout in the opening seconds. Aggressive, Pavlovich landed a hard sequence of blows. The North American accused the attacks and ended up collapsing after receiving clean attacks from his opponent. Noticing Derrick's condition, the referee chose to stop the fight.
