“I don’t remember exactly (what he said), but he was teasing me. Something slipped off my tongue and I'm a little disappointed in myself for getting involved in this, because I really value sportsmanship. I want the sport to be clean and I think after the fight we should be good friends, so I apologize to Chris Curtis for that”, said the Swede.
Eighth place in the middleweight rankings (up to 83,9 kg), Jack hermansson recovered from the defeat suffered against Sean Strickland, in February this year. The Swede has been alternating between good and bad results since April 2019.
Chris Curtis, in turn, experienced his first defeat in the UFC. The 35-year-old American had won eight consecutive victories in his career, the last three in the UFC octagon.
