With the increasing growth of the UFC brand in Brazil, the organization will now have a vice president designated for the country. The position, in effect since last weekend, is now occupied by Grace Tourinho, 47 years old. The executive, who already worked in charge of the organization's Brazilian office, was announced in the role by president Dana White, during a press conference in Goiânia (GO).

“As we have been traveling all over Brazil and all over the world, we are hiring people to execute the plans in different parts of the world. And we are always looking for stronger and more capable people in all countries. She (Grace Tourinho) worked in large companies such as Tickets for Fun, AmBev e PwC. She is capable”, said the director, shortly after UFC Fight Night 32, last Saturday (09).

When taking the floor, Grace thanked her fans and assured that the organization's purpose is to get even closer to the public. “Goiânia was wonderful. I appreciate the love from the fans and the incredible days we had. Brazil is the birthplace of our sport's idols, it is a very important market for the UFC. Since 2011, we have held 11 events here, seven of them in 2013. Our purpose is to bring the UFC closer to our fans,” she stated.
