UFC president Dana White did not hide his irritation with Rogério Minotouro. The Brazilian, who fought just three times in the last three years, gave up in the duel against Alexander Gustafson, in March 2014, claiming that he would not be able to recover on his back.
To increase the manager's irritation, Minotouro warned that he would not be able to face the Swede just five days after Dana White's announcement.
“What happened was that, the night we decided to do the fight, Gustafsson said yes right away. So I went there and announced it. But of course, he (Minotouro) is hurt,” said an angry Dana White, who continued shooting at Minotouro’s brother. Rodrigo Minotauro.
“The fight is in four months and he already knows he will be injured. He is always injured, he can never fight”, added the manager.
