Cezar Mutant was the winner of the first edition of TUF Brazil among middleweights, in 2012. But despite winning the reality show, the pupil of Vitor belfort was always questioned for not having faced Daniel sarafian, a finalist on the program who ended up getting injured before the decision. However, now he doesn't have that doubt. In a tactical game, Cezar beat his rival in the second most important fight of UFC Fight Night 32, a show held this evening (09), in Goiânia.

The expected fight between Cezar Mutant e Daniel sarafian, which would be the final of TUF Brazil between middleweights, was below expectations. Despite a well-fought duel at the beginning, Mutante's tactical game managed to overcome Sarafian's striking.

In the third round, Mutante repeated the tactic. He worked on takedowns, kept his rival on the ground, avoided risks in striking and cooled Daniel's momentum. In the end, he was close to finishing the fight and ended the fight on Sarafian's back with a rear naked choke.

Feijão wins and raises the crowd again

Paulo thiago entered the octagon in Goiânia ready to restart his climb in the UFC welterweight division. But after being caught with a fair knee to the rib applied by Brandon thatch, the BOPE police officer in Brasília was put at risk within the organization.

The Brazilian started the fight trying to close the distance to fight on the ground. But when attempting a hip takedown, Paulo thiago ended up opening space for a powerful knee landed by Thatch on the 'Skull's' ribs.

At this moment, the Brazilian went to the ground and gave up the fight, giving the octagon three taps, as he suffered punches on the ground.

As a result, Paulo thiago, despite coming off a victory in his last fight, suffered his fifth setback in seven most recent appearances in Ultimate.

'Argentino Gente Boa' loses in its debut

Santiago Ponzinibbio he was unable to repeat his performances from TUF Brasil 2 in his UFC debut. The 'Argentine Gente Boa', as he was introduced by Bruce Buffer, was dominated by the consistent play of Ryan LaFlare.

In the final moments, he managed to return the knockdown, but he didn't have the strength to continue the punishment on the ground.

After 15 minutes, Ryan LaFlare won over Santiago Ponzinibbio  in the unanimous decision of the judges (30×27, 30×27, 30×27).

Jason suffers lightning knockout and loses first in UFC

With a spectacular shot, the Brazilian Ron Jason saw an unbeaten record in the UFC fall. Coming from three consecutive victories inside the octagon, the Brazilian was surprised in the first moments of the fight against Jeremy Stephens.

Just 40 seconds into the fight, Jason tried to land a right blow, but the American threw a counter kick and knocked the Brazilian down, who already appeared to be knocked out. But to guarantee the victory, Stephens landed another kick to the face to confirm the knockout.
