Brazil did not start UFC Fight Night 32 well, an event held tonight in Goiânia. Of the five fights on the show's preliminary card, three Brazilian athletes left the Octagon defeated. Among the triumphs, the highlight is the quick completion of Thiago tavares over Justin Salas and the debut victory of Adriano Martins over Daron Cruickshank.
Thiaguinho finishes
Away from the octagon for nine months, Thiago tavares it took just over two minutes to find its way back to victory. The Brazilian started the fight against Justin Salas with everything and managed a sensational takedown.
Thiaguinho grabbed both of his rival's legs, carried him to the center of the octagon and threw him to the ground in a plastic way, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Confident in the ground fight, Tavares quickly secured the tight rear-naked choke that secured the victory.
Adriano Martins wins on debut
Adriano Martins made his UFC debut on the right foot. The Brazilian made a great performance against Daron Cruickshank and submitted the American with a Kimura in the second round.
After achieving a knockdown and coming close to submission in the first round, Adriano ended the fight in the second round. He blocked a shot from Cruickshank and took the duel to the ground. From then on, the Brazilian boxed Kimura and won the duel.
'No Chance' and Pepey lose and get complicated
Ceará's José Maria 'No Chance' and Geoffrey Pepey they enter the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 32 under pressure. Coming from bad results, they were unable to win and are now at risk of dismissal.
'No Chance' dominated the duel against Dustin Ortiz, but after winning the first rounds, he felt the rhythm of the fight and ended up being knocked out in the third round. Already Pepey couldn't fit his game in front of Sam Sicilia. After being knocked down, the finalist of the first edition of TUF Brazil among the featherweights ended up being knocked out with a series of punches on the ground.
