In a press conference after the show, Tupiniquim spoke about the subject.

“I need a rest, but after two weeks, I’m already in the gym. (…) I was very focused on this fight with Michelle to get back into the top 10. I want to fight anyone who is ahead of me in the rankings. For that, I'm going to go back to the gym, train a lot more, waiting for a name”, said the Brazilian.

This weekend, Lemos returned to the Octagon months after his defeat to Jessica Andrade, the 'Bate-Estaca'. A promise from the straws, the Pará native returned to the path of victory in style, using jiu-jitsu as a 'secret weapon'.

“I trained a lot of jiu-jitsu. I wanted to show a little, but I couldn't. It was super complete,” she concluded.

With the victory in UFC Long Island, Lemos should leave 11th place in rakning and return to the top 10. In addition to the achievement, the Brazilian also earned one of the performance bonuses, taking home the dreamed-of US$50 thousand (around R$270 thousand).
