It seems that Ultimate already has plans to return to Brazil. In an interview after UFC Island, an event held last Saturday (16), the organization's president, Dana White, revealed that there are talks to promote a card on Brazilian soil next year. He also responded about a possible rematch between Jiri Prochazka e Glover Teixeira for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.).
“When do we talk about an event in Brazil? Next year, right? We should go to Brazil next year. (…) He (Jiri Prochazka) talked about a possible rematch (with Glover Teixeira), Yes. But we haven't talked about it yet. I respect that he wants a rematch now. It’s amazing,” said Dana.

The answer, however, was not clear about a possible rematch between the two athletes promoted in Brazil. Glover, in fact, would be at the UFC 274 of May 7, which was planned to take place in the country. However, the company 'frustrated' the Brazilians and withdrew the card reserved for Rio de Janeiro.
The organization's last event in Brazil took place in March 2020, without an audience due to measures against COVID-19. In this ocasion, Charles of the Bronx still projected a chance for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg.) and overcame Kevin Lee with a submission in the third round.
