After carrying out the UFC Long Island, this Saturday (16), the Ultimate board is facing a real uncertainty as it does not have a legitimate challenger for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg.). After the 'bitter victory' of Yair Rodriguez, influenced by a Brian ortega, and Josh Emmett beating Calvin kattar controversially, Dana White considers a solution. In a press conference after the weekend's event, the president admitted a 'Plan B'.

"Alexander Volkanovsky (featherweight champion) will need surgery on his hand. He has something wrong with his hand. Are you asking me if there is a possibility (of a fight between Ortega and Emmett)? Yes. I like this fight”, said the agent.
