Amanda lemos made peace with victory in UFC Long Island, an event that took place this Saturday afternoon (16). In a safe performance, the Brazilian finished Michelle Waterson and had to reach the top 10 in the straw category.

In the fight, Amanda bet on her greater reach and more powerful blows to punish Waterson, who bet on movement, but did not enter the fight from distance on the feet. In the final half of the first round, the North American managed the takedown, but did not punish the Brazilian. In the second round, Waterson tried to repeat the feat, but the Brazilian hit the ground and was soon on her feet. Afterwards, Lemos applied the guillotine, called his rival to guard and forced Michelle to give up.
