Amanda Lemos has a good performance, submits Michelle Waterson and wins again in the UFC

Only Brazilian representative in UFC Long Island, an event held this Saturday (16) at the UBS Arena, in New York (USA), Amanda lemos stared Michelle Waterson by division of flies (up to 56,7kg.). And, in the second round, the woman from Pará got a guillotine choke and returned to the path of victory in the organization.

Amanda recovered from submission suffered by Jessica Stacker, in March this year, and should climb positions in the category ranking. With the result, she achieved her 12th triumph, while also having two other setbacks and a draw.

Waterson, in the final phase of his career, feels the 'bitter taste' of the tenth defeat in his career with the organization. It now has 18 positive results and ten negative results.

The fight

The athletes started exchanging kicks and showing their Muay Thai skills. Amanda marked the distance well and entered Waterson's range of action, who took advantage of the opportunity to take a fall in the final stretch. However, Lemos didn't let it go and reversed the situation to finish on top.

In the second round, the outcome for Amanda. After feeling comfortable on his feet, Lemos defended himself from a takedown and, as soon as he hit the ground, he transitioned to the guillotine choke. The Brazilian released the 'catch', even without the central referee stopping the duel. Even so, he recognized that he hit on the opposite side of the referee.

In the flyweight fight (up to 56,7kg) the North American suffered two knockdowns and felt his opponent's elbows, but he came around with a triangle and 'erased' the Chinese in the octagon.

Schnell, now, has survived and is winning again in the organization. In his career, the fighter has a record of 16 triumphs, six setbacks and one draw. Meanwhile, Mudaerji has 16 positive results and five negative results.

The North American had a good performance and ensured broad dominance in two rounds, in addition to 'suffering' in the third in a fight of comebacks. He left with his 'arms raised' in the judges' majority decision.

Burgos now has a record of 15 triumphs and three setbacks. On the other hand, Jourdain has 13 positive results, four negative results and one draw in his career.
