Freddie Roach during Affliction
The boxing coach of Andrei Arlovski, Freddie Roach, commented on his pupil's defeat to the Russian Fedor Emelianenko at Affliction 2, held last Saturday in California. For the coach, the “Pitbull” paid for his overconfidence.
“He made a rookie mistake,” said Roach “He (Andrei Arlovski) was winning the fight easily, controlling the fight as we planned. He just got too confident and then tried to throw a flying knee from very far away, without setting up, and he paid for it”, he concluded.
