Close to another boxing performance, Jake Paul reinforced the desire to test oneself against Conor McGregor, but did not receive the expected response. After an attack on social media, the digital influencer ended up being ridiculed by the MMA legend, who ruled out a super fight.

“At some point, this fight will happen. He (McGregor) is a businessman, just like me. It's a $75 million to $100 million commitment for both of us,” said Jake, in an interview with 'The MMA Hour', suggesting figures that exceed R$500 million.

Noticing the new onslaught of youtuber, Conor decided to respond. On social media, the former UFC champion ironically responded to the digital influencer's proposal.

“You had two fights and sold 70 pay-per-views. You're a failure, boy. It’s nothing”, replied ‘Notório’, in his account on Twitter.

Even keeping an eye on McGregor, Jake Paul has a date and opponent for its first appearance in the 2022 season. On August 6, the youtuber returns to the ring and squares off with Hasin Rahman Jr.

Considered one of the biggest stars in UFC history, Conor is recovering from a serious injury suffered in July 2021, when he fractured his left ankle and was overcome by Dustin poirier. The athlete continues treatment to return to competitions.
