Sapo shows confidence for his first UFC main event: 'I'm better than ever'

Rafael Sapo he is close to his biggest challenge of his Ultimate career. The athlete from Minas Gerais will take part in the main fight of the night on the show for the first time. He faces Tim Kennedy, next Wednesday, at UFC Fight Night 31. But before leaving for the United States, the black belt used his Twitter account to post a photo from his last training session to show confidence in victory.

“Last training before leaving for Wednesday’s battle. I'm feeling better than ever”, Sapo wrote on his microblog account, in a photo alongside his boxing trainer, Angel Rivera, and master Vinícius Draculino, who has been following the fighter since the beginning of his career, in Belo Horizonte.

Rafael Sapo He is experiencing the best moment of his UFC career. The 30-year-old fighter has won three consecutive victories in the organization. The last one occurred at home, in Mineirinho, at UFC Fight Night 28, in September, when he defeated Swede Tor Troeng in a unanimous decision by the judges.
