Alexandre pantoja is in the final of the flyweight GP (up to 57 kg.) of the WOCS. In the 31st edition of the event, held this Friday (01), in Rio de Janeiro, the Nova União athlete fought a straight fight against Daniel 'Zé Grilo', but managed to land a fair rear-naked choke and guarantee his place in the title fight. In the decision, he faces Jamilson Daduzinho, qualified for the final last September

The 13th victory in the Alexandre pantoja It was in style. With a frank exchange of blows from the first seconds of the fight, he and Zé Grilo had an electrifying fight until the second minute of the first round, which was when the Nova União athlete found space to adjust a rear naked choke and finish the fight.

“It was a great fight, I knew he would fight on the ground because he comes from Mestre Cromado's school. He said he had studied my game, but I think he'd better study more”, said Pantoja, before coming face to face with Daduzinho still in the WOCS 31 cage. However, the dispute still doesn't have a date to be held.

The third time he stepped into the cage, Léo Leite didn't have an easy time. Against Fábio Morangil, the Brazilian Top Team athlete had difficulty trying out his takedown game and even had to endure good knees from his opponent.

In the view of the side judges, Léo's incessant search for a takedown combined with the blows he managed to land on his feet were enough to win unanimously, maintaining his unbeaten record on the record.

RFT athlete, Vitor Oristânio, nicknamed “Leite Ninho”, faced his second challenge in his career and saw the negative result repeat itself. Against André Minibroca, the son of actor Giuseppe Oristânio started well, but succumbed in the last two rounds to Minibroca's game of takedowns and, despite his father's support in the gym's stands, he ended up defeated by unanimous decision from the side judges.
