After Ngannou defends Adesanya, Jon Jones returns to mocking Cameroonian and heats up rivalry

'Bones' says that Cameroonian and Nigerian achievements are far from his journey in Ultimate

Still working on his heavyweight debut (up to 120,2kg.), Jon Jones Stay sharp with your words. 'Bones' criticized again Israel adesanya and mocked the defense of Francis Ngannou to the middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg.). He even remembered the knockout of Alex Poatán over the Nigerian and heated up the rivalry with both athletes.

“Look, how beautiful. Francis defending 'Elsa'. I could take two more years without fighting and you together wouldn't do what I did inside the octagon. (…) I'm not impressed with you and your little friend. I saw you give up several times and your friend almost got knocked out the last time you faced Alex Poatán. You guys go out there and win your fights, then I'm impressed. Until then, don't put my name in your mouth, because I'm on another level”, said Bones in his 'Twitter' official.

Declared disaffection, Francis Ngannou e Jon Jones have accentuated their rivalry with an eye on a fight for the linear heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg.).

Considered by many to be the best of all time in MMA, Jones has not performed professionally since February 2020. At the time, the American had just defended his old light heavyweight title (up to 93kg) against Dominick reyes.

Ngannou is still recovering from a knee injury and is working on returning to Ultimate. The Cameroonian surpassed Cyryl Gane in January of this year, in the unanimous decision of the judges. He is considering returning at the beginning of 2023.
