Brazil is all about victories in Affliction 2

The second edition of Affliction recently ended in Anaheim, in the United States, with a show by Brazilians. Rogério Minotouro, Renato Babalu and Vitor belfort They didn't give their opponents a chance and threw a Tupiniquim party at the Honda Center, in California.

Rogério Minotouro vs. Vladimir Matyushenko

The first Brazilian in action, Minotouro got the long-awaited rematch against Russian Vladimir Matyushenko. Dominating the fight from the first movements, the black belt controlled the actions in the first round, landing good blows. At the beginning of the second round, after suffering a strong right hand, which opened a cut on his face, Minotouro applied several knees to his opponent, who ended up being knocked out.

Renato Babalu vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou

Renato Babalu confirmed once again, tonight, the excellent phase of his career. After some difficulties in the first round, the Gracie Barra black belt managed to take down Rameau Sokoudjou, punishing the Cameroonian with ground and pound, before finishing with a beautiful anaconda, to the delight of the crowd.

Vitor belfort vs. Matt Lindland

Remembering the old way, Vitor belfort didn't give Matt Lindland a chance. Just 37 seconds into the fight, the “Phenomenon” delivered a beautiful straight left, taking the American to the ground, where he was punished until he suffered a knockout and required medical attention in the ring.

Fedor Emelianenko x Andrei Arlovski

In the main fight of the night, Andrei Arlovski started better than the beast Fedor Emelianenko. With sharp boxing, the former UFC fighter managed to maintain a good distance, landing good blows on the former Pride champion. But, in an oversight, Fedor delivers a strong direct, in a quick counterattack and takes Pitbull to the ground. Check out the other results:
