The five consecutive victories in Ultimate put Rafael dos Anjos in a prominent position in the lightweight category. Proof of this is that the Brazilian, currently sixth in the division according to the official rankings, is in the sights of the former champion Ben henderson. In an interview with the “MMA Fighting” website, Bendo spoke about his interest in fighting Rafael.

“We are inclined to think about (a fight against) Rafael dos Anjos. I think it would be a good, fun fight. I think it would be a great fight for both of us. I don’t know if he has any fights scheduled or not,” said Henderson. At least officially, Rafael dos Anjos does not have its next confrontation announced.
