Cain Velazquez was sovereign against Junior Gypsy throughout the fight for the heavyweight belt last Saturday (19). Despite his evident dominance, Velasquez also showed signs of the five-round battle fought in the main fight of UFC 166 and made a point of showing them off, through the Instagram .
“Two days after the fight, bruises and stitches. But it’s worth it,” wrote the American of Mexican descent on his profile, along with an image of his face. In less than a day, the photograph was liked by more than ten thousand people.
Last Saturday (19), at UFC 166, Cain Velazquez He closed the trilogy against Junior “Cigano” dos Santos with another undisputed victory. The heavyweight champion retained his title with an impeccable performance, closed with a technical knockout in the fifth round.
