Bad news for Brazilian MMA fans at the beginning of this Tuesday. The fighter Ronys Torres informed our team, this morning, that he suffered a serious injury during his training, tearing ligaments in his knee. As a result, his UFC debut, scheduled for UFN-18, which takes place on April 1st, will be postponed.
“I hurt myself badly, the ligaments in my knee tore and I'm going to have to have surgery. I must be out of action for about 6 months” said the Nova União athlete, quite upset, but showing faith in recovery and a comeback:
“God is in charge, he knows what he is doing. He put me there (in the UFC) and he took me out himself. Nothing is by chance. I'm just postponing my UFC debut, I'm sure! I know I’m not alone in this battle”, said Ronys.
