The city of Houston will shake this Saturday (19). The North American Cain Velazquez and the Brazilian junior gypsy step into the octagon set up at the Toyota Center, in the main fight of UFC 166, to conclude a trilogy of enormous rivalry and define who is the best heavyweight in the world.

In the first duel between Cigano and Velasquez, in November 2011, the Brazilian came out on top, beating his rival by knockout in the first round. In the rematch, in December 2012, the American of Mexican descent fought back and took the title from the Brazilian athlete in a unanimous decision by the judges.

For the third duel, Cigano made it clear that the goal is to seek a knockout, as was the case in the first duel, when he landed an overhand that sent his rival to the canvas. “It will definitely be a great fight for the fans and families and I will give you another knockout,” promised the former champion.

Velasquez, who dominated the fight for 25 minutes in the second duel, promises an even better performance in tonight's match. “He's a tough guy and in this fight I hope to be tougher than in the second. I'm prepared for a five-round fight and whatever,” assured the belt owner, with the full support of the Houston fans.

More Brazil

Besides junior gypsy, another Brazilian heavyweight also steps into the Octagon at UFC 166: Gabriel Napao. The jiu-jitsu black belt is looking for his third victory in 2013 in Ultimate against Shawn Jordan. Despite being a specialist in ground fighting, the Brazilian promises a knockout for the public.

“My goal is to improve in all areas and I know I'm ready for whatever direction this fight takes, and I can always dictate the pace, even though he's an explosive guy too. The objective is to leave the octagon with a knockout victory, but if the fight takes place on the ground, I am fully capable of seeking a submission”, he assured.
