It was amazing. In his first big test in PFL 4, an event held this Friday (17), Josh Silveira 'overcame' the clash against Norwegian Martin Hamlet and managed to win by knockout via high kick in the first round. With this, he has six points in the organization's light heavyweight (up to 93kg) tournament.
Son of Conan Silveira – Brazilian and one of the founders of 'American Top Team' -, John maintains an unbeaten record in his career. The North American now has a record of nine victories, but did not progress to the next stage for the US$1 million prize (around R$5 million, at current prices).

Hamlet, on the other hand, is not going through a good phase and alternates between good and bad performances. Professional since 2017, the Norwegian has a record of nine positive results and four negative results.
The fight
Josh already started the fight showing that he would like a quick outcome. With a promising start, Silveira tried to corner Hamlet, who was defending takedowns well.
The North American, however, landed a high kick that shook his opponent, as well as a knee to settle the score in the first round.
