Toquinho and Shogun win at UFC-93

UFC-93 recently ended in Dublin, Ireland. With four Brazilians in action, the country came away with two defeats and two victories in the event. On the preliminary card, Alexandre Baixinho, who was making his debut for the organization, was knocked out by Martin Kampmann in round two. Antonio “Samuray” Mendes suffered his second defeat in the UFC when he was defeated by Eric Schafer, by TKO, in the first round.

If things weren't good for Brazil on the under card, the main card was perfect. Rousimar Toquinho, despite suffering a broken hand in the first round, dominated the entire fight against the experienced Jeremy Horn and won a unanimous decision from the judges. Already Mauritius Shogun, managed to overcome fatigue due to long inactivity and defeated Mark Coleman, with a technical knockout at the end of the third round, in the long-awaited Pride rematch. In the main fight of the night, Dan Henderson defeated Rich Franklin via split decision. Check out the results:
