Patricky Pitbull faces Sidney Outlaw in his first title defense at Bellator 283, in July

The first defense of the belt Patricky Pitbull at Bellator there is a set date. Lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), the Brazilian defends his title against Sidney Outlaw in the main fight of the Bellator 283, an event that takes place on July 22nd, at the Emerald Queen Casino, in Tacoma, Washington, United States.

Bellator athlete since 2011, Patricky Pitbull became the organization's lightweight champion by knocking out Peter Queally No. Bellator 270, in November 2021. The Potiguar has eight victories in the last ten fights and a professional record of 24 triumphs and ten setbacks.

On the other side, Sidney Outlaw arrives for the duel on the back of two consecutive victories, the last of which was a submission over Myles Jury in June of last year. The North American's last defeat came in December 2019, against the former champion Michael chandler. In his career, “Da Gun” has a record of 16 triumphs and four setbacks.

O Bellator 283 also features the former welterweight champion (up to 77 kg) Douglas lima, which faces jason jackson in a duel originally scheduled for Bellator London, in May, but rescheduled for undisclosed reasons.

Another highlight is the Usman Nurmagomedov, Khabib's cousin, still undefeated in professional MMA with 14 wins. The Russian faces Chris Gonzalez in the lightweight division.
