Nothing shakes Glover Teixeira. Even defeated by Jiri Prochazka No. UFC 275, a result that resulted in the loss of the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg.), the 42-year-old Brazilian doesn't care about retirement. In an interview with Daniel Cormier, moments after being submitted by the Czech, the Tupiniquim assured that he will continue competing and drove the Singaporean public crazy.
“Do I look bad for a 42-year-old?” Glover asked Cormier into the microphone.
Responsible for interviews in UFC 275, DC did not hesitate. The former Ultimate champion immediately responded.
"No. You were incredible,” said the commentator.
Noticing Daniel's response, Glover drew applause from the crowd with his next sentence.
“So, I’m going to keep fighting”, he said.
Last Saturday, Teixeira delivered a true battle against Prochazka. For the judges, the Minas Gerais native was winning the match, but, after a mistake in the final seconds of the last round, he ended up finishing and losing the throne.
