Last Saturday (11), Glover experienced a real battle in the Octagon. According to the judges, the Brazilian was winning the match, but an oversight in the final seconds of the last round ended up giving Prochazka the opportunity to submit the Minas Gerais native.

With the defeat, Teixeira lost the opportunity to equal the record of Lyoto Machida, with a successful title defense. If he surpasses Jiri, the veteran could draw with his compatriot and enter the discussion about who is the greatest Brazilian in the history of light heavyweight.

In addition to losing the title in UFC 275, Glover ended a long series of positive results. Before facing Prochazka, the Tupiniquim had accumulated six victories in a row.
