The competition for a place in the 2012 London Olympics begins this month for Brazilian judokas. Four fighters were called up to the Brazilian Confederation to compete in the traditional Paris tournament, which will be held on the 7th and 8th of February. Those called up are: Luciano Corrêa (100kg), Sarah Menezes (48kg), Ketleyn Quadros (57kg) and Camila Minakawa (63kg). From France, Luciano goes to the World Cup in Budapest, the following weekend, while the women's trio goes to the World Cup in Austria. The Paris Tournament awards 300 points to the tournament champion, while the World Cup awards 100 points to first place.
