Dana White comments on the possibility of Valentina competing for the bantamweight belt: 'Whatever she wants, I'll make it happen'

The UFC president praised the flyweight champion and promised to do his best to schedule any fight the Kyrgyz athlete wants

After Valentina Shevchenko makes clear her desire to fight for the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg), the president of Ultimate, Dana White, stated that he will not oppose any wishes of the flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg). On the 'media day' of UFC 275, which takes place next Saturday (11), the president 'handed the keys' into the hands of the Kyrgyz fighter and said he will do whatever the female MMA legend wishes.

"She (Valentina Shevchenko) can continue defending the (fly) title. She can fight Julianna (Peña), she can fight Amanda (Nunes). Whatever she wants to do, if she wants it bad enough, I'll try to make it happen. I respect her a lot, whatever she wants to do, I’m with her,” said Dana.

While the duel for the bantamweight belt is still in the realm of imagination, Valentina is preparing for her seventh defense of the flyweight title. At the UFC 275, the fighter from Kyrgyzstan will take on the co-main fight of the event against the Brazilian Taila Santos, number four in the ranking. Professional since 2002 and at 34 years of age, 'Bullet' has a record of 22 triumphs and three setbacks in professional MMA.
