Target of firearm shots that resulted in the arrest of Cain Velazquez, Harry Goularte pleaded not guilty to charges of child abuse. The suspect's statement, in a session held last Monday (7), in Santa Clara (USA), took place via video conference, and a new hearing was scheduled for September 20. The information was presented by 'MMA Junkie'.
Although the verdict on Goularte's condition has not yet been released, a restraining order against the suspect has been issued. Therefore, Harry has the obligation to remain at least 91 meters away from the minor in question.

While the suspect awaits the outcome of the trial in freedom, Velasquez has remained in detention since February 28. The arrest of the former UFC champion happened after the athlete tried to take 'justice into his own hands'.
On that occasion, Cain led a car chase and fired shots at the car in which Goularte was traveling. One of the shots even hit the suspect's stepfather.
Twice, Valesquez's defense unsuccessfully tried to appeal for the former fighter to await the outcome of the case in freedom. The mixed martial arts veteran risks being sentenced to life in prison.
