Júnior Cigano undergoes surgery after shoulder injury on debut at Eagle FC: 'It was a success'

Everything worked. After serious shoulder injury on debut at 'Eagle F.C.' on May 20th, junior gypsy underwent surgery to correct the injury, in a procedure that took place in Rio de Janeiro. In your 'Instagram' official, the Brazilian celebrated the success of the intervention and is already planning a return for 2023.

“Surgery was a success. Thank you, Dr. Rickson Moraes and team for the excellent work and attention. We continue! (…) Of course, a minute away from my loves is too much for daddy’s heart, so let’s go for a visit”, wrote Cigano.

In combat against yorgan de castro, the Brazilian had an advantage in three rounds when he was injured and was unable to return to the fight. Still, the president of the organization, Khabib Nurmagomedov, revealed that he still has big plans for the athlete and does not rule out a possible clash against Fedor Emelianenko.

A Brazilian standout in the history of MMA, Cigano seeks to return to the great phase of his career. Former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg) in the UFC, the 38-year-old fighter has 31 appearances in mixed martial arts, with 21 triumphs and 10 setbacks. He has also declared his desire to 'fulfill his dream' and compete in professional boxing in his future.
