First Brazilian in action this Saturday (4) and only representative of the country on the preliminary card of the UFC Las Vegas 56, Alex Leko measured forces against Joe Solecki and was defeated in the majority decision of the judges. Against the North American, the Brazilian had a good start, but lost a point and didn't have time to change the result.

Leko has four appearances in Ultimate, but only won one fight. A professional since 2014, the Brazilian has a history of 21 triumphs and four setbacks and has yet to find his way into the organization.
Solecki, in turn, wins again. The North American, who had been defeated in a close fight against Jared gordon, leaves with 'arms raised' in his first performance in 2022. In his career, there are 12 positive results and three negative results.
The fight
At the beginning of the duel, Solecki and Leko exchanged blows at close range and the Brazilian managed to throw a punch that made the North American fall. Alex fell on top and worked dangerous elbows and punches to score. Joe still managed to find a guillotine choke, but saw his opponent make a good save.
The second round was marked by the broad dominance of Solecki, who managed to get the takedown and easily reached Leko's back. The Brazilian, however, resisted well until the end of the round. Alex also lost a point for holding inside the opponent's glove.
Willing to go for 'all or nothing' and decide his victory in the third round, Alex combined good strikes, defended a takedown from Joe and continued marching forward with close-range sequences. In the last minutes, the Santa Catarina native took a takedown and, in guard, continued until the end – but was unable to reverse the judges' score.

Tony Gravely he had 'quick work' in a fight against Johnny Muñoz on the preliminary card. Despite the warm start, the North American played straight and thwarted his compatriot's takedown attempt with a hook to brutally knock him out in the first round.
Now, Gravely remains a good rooster prospect (up to 61,2kg.) and has collected, in his journey, 11 positive results and one negative. More experienced, Muñoz has 22 triumphs and seven setbacks.
Rinat Fakhretdinov dominates, defeats Andreas Michailidis and debuts with victory in the UFC

The debut of a UFC athlete can be marked by great expectations and nervousness in search of a good performance. But stop Rinat Fakhretdinov, the coldness was predominant. The Russian showed great dominance in grappling to overcome Andreas Michailidis with ease in the unanimous decision of the judges.
Russian talent, Fakhretdinov finally made his debut and extended his series to 15 positive results in a row. Based on grappling, the fighter has 21 wins and two losses in his career.
Michailidis is also unable to recover from the knockout suffered by Alex Poatán in November 2021 and the organization becomes more complicated. The Greek missed three of four presentations at the company and is now at risk of dismissal. He has a record of 13 triumphs and six setbacks.

It was talent. Youngest fighter at the event, Erin Blanchfield showed quality in jiu-jitsu to finish JJ Aldrich standing, with a guillotine. At 23 years old, the North American played a balanced game on her feet and knew how to take advantage of her compatriot's gap. The duel was the first on the preliminary card.
Blanchfield, as a result, remains on a good streak and has yet to lose since signing with the organization. Professional since 2017, she has eight triumphs – six in a row and three in Ultimate – and one setback.
Aldrich, whose streak of three victories in a series has been broken, feels the 'bitter taste' of the fifth defeat in his career. She also has 11 other wins.
