“I fought on the Contender Series, I lost, but thank God we had a green light from Dana White on the same day. He went there and said: 'I really liked your fight, you're impressive'. He said I'm 'impressive' and that if I win one more fight outside the UFC I'll be back. I went there, fought this fight and won, and we’re back”, celebrated Lucas.

The fighter from São Paulo gave a small 'presentation' of his fighting style and predicted how he will win his fight in the UFC Las Vegas 56.

“I have an aggressive style, I go for it, I don’t come to be tied up. My style is striker. Even if I go to the ground, I'm aggressive too. So, I think my style impressed Dana. I’m sure I’ll knock him out in the first round,” said Lucas.
