Number five of bantamweights, Marlon Vera belittles Aljamain Sterling: 'He's not a real fighter'

The Ecuadorian fighter did not hide his dislike for the category champion and accused him of giving up when he encounters difficulties during the fight

In an interview with 'Food Truck Diaries', number five in the ranking Marlon Vera he belittled the 'Funk Master's' abilities, made it clear that he doesn't like the North American and accused him of 'not being a real fighter'.

"aljamain sterling He's a great athlete, but he's not a real fighter. I'd bet my house he's not a real fighter. If shit goes his way, he'll give up. Personally, I don't like 'Aljo', so I would like to kick his ass. I don't like his personality. He's a little annoying, he's a little diva, so I just don't like the guy,” said Vera.

Absolute bantamweight champion, Sterling has won seven consecutive victories and has not been defeated since December 2017. His last triumph was the long-awaited rematch against the Russian Petr yan and the 'Funk Master' emerged victorious in the judges' split decision.
