Criticized by Dustin Poirier, Michael Chandler responds to provocations from his newest rival

After receiving several criticisms from Dustin poirier, Michael chandler decided to fight back. Targeted by the former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), the American responded to the attacks of 'Diamante', who even questioned the talent of the Bellator legend. The athlete then retorted in the 'same coin'.

“Nobody gives a shit what you think. It doesn’t make sense,” said Chandler, in a video released on Instagram.

Upset by Dustin's statements, Michael didn't stop there. The athlete then criticized the moment of the 'Diamante', which comes from defeat to Charles of the Bronx, competing for the lightweight title.

“You've lost your shine and want to steal someone else's. You're at the end of the line. Shut up”, concluded Chandler.

Hired by the UFC to compete in the under-70,3kg category, Michael is having a great time in the company. In his last commitment, the athlete imposed against Tony Ferguson one of the most brutal knockouts of the season, knocking out 'Bicho Papão' at the beginning of the second round.

In search of his debut in the 2022 season, Poirier currently occupies second place in the lightweight rankings. Chandler, in turn, is in fifth place.
