Known by the nickname 'Smiling' – smile, in free translation – for his joyful moments inside and outside the octagon, Sam alvey has few reasons to feel happy in the UFC. The good moment, however, ended in the hands of Minotouro Nogueira, who started the North American on one of the worst streaks in the sport. Since then, Alvey has embarked on a seven-fight losing streak, including poor performances against prospects in the middleweight (up to 83,9kg) and light heavyweight (up to 93kg) divisions.
