Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Forrest griffin, is expected to be left out of competitions for a large part of this year. The fighter suffered an injury to his left hand during the fight against Rashad evans at UFC-92, which took place on the 27th.
Griffin underwent surgery and had some pins inserted in his hand, his return was scheduled for May, however, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”, the injury was more complicated than imagined and his return to the octagon will not happen before last quarter of 2009.
