Another victory for Esquiva Falcão. Silver medalist at the London Olympic Games in 2012, the Brazilian showed his quality to beat the Argentine 'El Tucu' Cristian Rios in the unanimous decision of the judges. The event took place last Sunday (29) and was valid for 'Boxing For You', in Sao Paulo.

Esquiva now has his 30th career victory and remains unbeaten in boxing. With this, the Brazilian remains first in the IBF – International Boxing Federation – ranking and hopes to fight for the world belt in his next appearance.
The fight
Esquiva had no great difficulty maintaining his superiority. With a dominant style, the Brazilian dominated and managed to stand out in the first two rounds and ended up being surprised by certain blows from Rios in the third.
Still, 'El Tucu's' strategy was just to resist, not get knocked out and try to counterattack, but he didn't even manage to be active in the fight and ended up losing every round. With that, Falcão came close to a knockout in the ninth round, but left with his arms raised in the judges' decision.
Near the title
The chance to fight for the belt could be close for Esquiva Falcão. The Brazilian, on his official 'Twitter', revealed that he was happy with the new victory and celebrated the possible opportunity.
"Thank you, God. Everything worked. My next fight now is for the belt”, celebrated Esquiva.
