Amid legal complications due to the attack against Colby covington in a restaurant in Miami, in the United States, Jorge masvidal plans to return to the UFC octagon in 2022.

“Guaranteed return this year. I don't know the date yet. I think that with two fights I can be in contention for the title again”, said the fighter in an interview with “ESPN Desportes”.

In the interview, Jorge masvidal also spoke about the possibility of facing Conor McGregor on the Irishman's return to the octagon, scheduled for the second half of 2022. “Gamebred” was willing to face the “Notório” at welterweight (up to 77 kg), accused Conor of using anabolic steroids and guaranteed that he would “join kill” the former lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) and featherweight (up to 65,7 kg) champion.

“I would love to face him at 77 kg, but I'm not waiting for anyone. If he wants to fight, I'll break his face. If he doesn't want to, let him come later. He's fake, he knows that I'm a man who hits hard and that I come in to kill, not to play hugs in the octagon. I'm going to give everything in me to kill him, and I have a size advantage, even though now he's injecting steroids and everything. But, he’s still a little boy,” Masvidal said.
