Arrested since the beginning of February, Cain Velazquez received important support from a great friend. “You have to protect your family. If animals protect their family, of course humans will protect their family. You talk about law, code, they arrest you, I don't understand these things. You always have to be fair. This is not fair. They stay in jail and he (Harry Goularte, accused of allegedly molesting Cain's son) is outside. Worry about another guy. OK, put this guy in jail too. He is more dangerous to people than Cain Velazquez,” Khabib said.

Nurmagomedov made a point of remembering that he never saw Cain involved in any type of controversy, before the incident, he praised the former champion and said that he should not be in prison.

“Never in his life. 40 years old (Velasquez age). Never in his life have we had social problems, people from outside, at the gym, he is the most respectful guy I have ever seen in my life. I trained with him for over 10 years. I know his family, everyone loves Cain. What happens, he acts as if someone would act. These are his children, you know? He (Harry Goularte) is out there, I don’t understand that”, concluded the Russian.
