Brazilian Ultimate promise, Jailton Malhadinho shined again in the octagon. After taking on the challenge of performing in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg.) UFC Las Vegas 55, held this Saturday (21), the light heavyweight (up to 93kg.) put on a real show in the confrontation against parker porter. Highlighted on the preliminary card, the fighter gave his opponent no chance and finished in the first round, practically without being touched.

With the result, Malhadinho confirmed his great phase in Ultimate. Now, the fighter has two victories in a row, both in the first round.
Incisively overcome, Porter had his undefeated streak ended. The 'giant' had three consecutive victories.
In an interview still in the octagon, Malhadinho stated that he was 'here to stay' in the UFC. With a favorable physique, the athlete is willing to work in two categories in the organization.
The fight
In the opening seconds, Malhadinho went for Porter's legs and attempted a takedown. The Brazilian pressed his rival against the bars and managed a great takedown. Jailton remained under pressure from above and did not allow the 'giant' to recover. Around the middle of the stage, the Bahian attacked with ground and pound, and tried to end the fight. As the fight progressed, the Brazilian continued 'walking' against Parker. The North American showed no signs of being able to stand and the Brazilian was in complete control. In the final seconds, after an attack, Jailton secured a rear naked choke and forced his rival to give up.
