Lombard, who stood out in 'bare-knuckle boxing', arrives at his seventh fight without knowing what it's like to go out with his arms raised in MMA. Now, there are 46 fights, with 34 victories, ten setbacks, one draw and three no contests.

The fight

Lombard managed to connect, in the opening seconds, a blow to unbalance Silva. On top, the Cuban used his strength to reach half-guard and land good punches. Thiago made the save and saw Hector continue in a dominant position near the fence. At the last minute, the two athletes started fighting openly until the end of the round.

Willing to reduce his size disadvantage, Hector adopted an even more aggressive stance and frequently entered Thiago's range of action. The Brazilian, however, counterattacked with a direct strike, but got excited and landed an illegal knee. With a nose bleed, the Cuban stated that he was unable to continue the fight.

Gabriel Checco was the first Brazilian fighter on the main card, but he ended up physically dominated by Andrew Sanchez. Without betting on the ground game, the São Paulo native got the worst of the standup and was surpassed by the North American, who left with his 'arms raised' in the unanimous decision of the judges.

Checco now remains without a win at Eagle FC. In his debut, he lost to veteran Rashad evans. Professional since 2012, Gabriel has a history of 19 fights, with 12 triumphs and seven setbacks.

On the other hand, Sanchez begins his career in the organization of Khabib Nurmagomedov with the 'right foot' and wins again. The North American has 13 positive results and seven negative results.
