"I think Jon Jones phenomenal. He has never lost and the only defeat he has is by disqualification. It's absurd, good and confident. Height and weight were factors that gave him an advantage at light heavyweight and this will be much less at heavyweight. And it will make a big difference to his performance and results. I’m curious to see how it will be”, analyzed Cigano.

The most real possibility now is that Jones will face another big name in the franchise. The North American, who made history in the light heavyweight division (up to 93kg), must face off against Stipe Miocic. And, for Cigano, it's the fight to make at Ultmate.

“If it’s against (Stipe) Miocic, I think it’s an excellent fight. That's what people are waiting to see. Miocic is considered the best heavyweight in the UFC and can receive Jon Jones – which has always been number one pound for pound in the world – will be very interesting. I see it positively and I hope it happens soon”, said the Brazilian.

'The world will stop'

Asked about the technical fit, Júnior evaluated Stipe as the big favorite for the fight. According to him, the heavyweight legend is the best name to welcome Jon to his new division.

“As a favorite, I’ll have to point to Miocic. Because it will be a doubt that we have about how Jon Jones will do well in the heavyweight division. I think it's perfect for welcoming Jones. It will be a fight to 'stop the world' from fighting. The fight shouldn't last long. Miocic has wrestling, jiu-jitsu, heavy hands and good boxing. Jon Jones He’s dangerous with elbows, he’s an excellent wrestler and it’s a breathtaking fight,” he concluded.
