With an eye on a rematch with Glover Teixeira, Jan Blachowicz supports the Brazilian at UFC 275

Now light heavyweight champion, Glover Teixeira will have a 'special' crowd in his first title defense, in UFC 275. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the Polish Jan Blachowicz, dethroned by the Brazilian, revealed that he supports the Brazilian athlete to win Jiri Prochazka and continue with the belt, so that he can get his long-awaited rematch.

“I would like to take the belt from Glover (Teixeira) So, I will keep my fingers crossed for him. I wish him the best in this fight, but I hope that if he defends the belt he doesn't retire. He needs to give me the rematch, but first I’m going to focus on (Aleksandar) Rakic,” Blachowicz said.

Light heavyweight champion between 2020 and 2021, Jan was dethroned by Glover Teixeira No. UFC 267, which took place in October. The Brazilian secured a rear-naked choke in the second round and won the UFC belt he dreamed of. Fighting in Ultimate since 2014, the Pole has a record of 28 triumphs and nine setbacks as a professional athlete.
