The victory over Justin gaethje in the main fight of UFC 274, last Saturday (7), the lightweight belt (up to 70,3 kg) may not have been valid for Charles of the Bronx, but it was worth confirming the Brazilian as the best in the world in the division. At least that's Dana White's opinion.

“It was what I expected, what you expected, what we all expected. Two very bad guys facing each other. (Charles) Oliveira proved tonight that he is the best. He really is,” said Dana White.

The victory over Justin gaethje was the eleventh consecutive Charles of the Bronx in the UFC. With the result, the Brazilian, who has not lost since December 2017, qualified to try to regain the lightweight belt, which he lost after not making the division's weight for the duel in the UFC 274.
