Former interim lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg.), Tony Ferguson was the protagonist of the strongest image of the UFC 274. Inserted in the main card of the show, the veteran had publicized the exact moment in which he received the withering kick from Michael chandler, which determined the knockout in the second round. The image was released by photographer Hans Gutknecht.

In a terrible moment in his career, Ferguson stepped into the octagon to end a streak of three straight defeats. The athlete, however, ended up living a nightmare, after being knocked out in the opening seconds of the second round.
Responsible for the historic moment in MMA, Chandler couldn't contain his joy after the epic outcome against Tony. Even with his opponent unconscious due to the attack, the American celebrated with somersaults in the Octagon.
With the defeat, Ferguson becomes even more complicated and extends his bad phase. The fighter now has four consecutive stumbles.
Pivot of the show's great outcome, Chandler had his achievement recognized by the organization. The athlete was awarded one of the bonuses of US$50 thousand (approximately R$254 thousand).
