The “witch of injuries” is loose at WOCS 29, an event that takes place next Friday (20), in Rio de Janeiro. Dileno Lopes suffered a foot injury and will be replaced by Jamilson “Dadozinho” in the under-57kg GP, which will see the clash between Pedro Nobre and Alexandre pantoja. Carlston “Mozambique” tore his biceps, and in his place Igor Machado will face Marcão “Bad Face”. The third casualty was due to Wande Lopes, with a rib problem. His training partner at TFT Jefferson “Brother” picks up Thiago “Paulista”.
“We did a GP with UFC-level fighters. Unfortunately we had Dileno's injury but we are grateful for Jamilson's willingness to accept straight away to face a tough guy like Kevin. When it comes to fighting, anything can happen, even with little preparation time, anyone can win. Once again I hope for a great event in Rio de Janeiro and as expected, I am very hopeful”, says Tatá Duarte, one of the event organizers.
